WHY WE STARTED
In 2011, EPTA was founded in the spirit of paying it forward and on the belief that due to the nature of our industry, we can make a reverberating impact and bring joy to those most in need.
Nearly 6 years after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005, event professionals took notice of the shocking difference between neighborhoods in terms of disaster recovery. While the tourism and nightlife scenes recovered almost immediately, outside those areas many families never recovered and continue to struggle even today.
